I’m on my second go of the Hideaway series. I just love his series and all of the other series to be honest. I just love how some of the characters overlap into other series. One thing I did find out, it was definitely better reading them all back to back versus waiting on the next book to come out. I was in another world and dimension with my own new family. 😉 Reading definitely takes you to another place and your mind off of your day-to-day life. Reading about someone else’s fictitious life is so entertaining and relaxing. I love how the stories have you so engrossed that you feel like you are a part of he family.
Ms. Alers, your writing is out of this world. I can’t get enough of your writing, so much so that I read my books over waiting on the next one. I know it takes a lot of planning, researching and brainstorming to come up with stories, but do know that we love your stories. Continue to use your blessing and we will continue to support you. Love one of your many biggest fans!
You don’t know what your feedback means to me. It does take a while for me to come with the plots for characters that nag me so much for their own stories that they keep me from a restful night’s sleep. I love the Coles as if they were members of my family, but there are times when I have to step away from them or they’ll takeover my life. Right now I’m trying to think of a plot line for Chase, and I know eventually I’ll come up with something to honor this mysterious man. Thank you again for your support and I hope I will continue to bring you the story lines and characters you have come to expect from me.
I’m still thinking about who I can pair with Chase. It’s not going to be easy because I want her to be as strong emotionally as he is, while I’m not certain if she will be involved in something covert. I know one of these days she will tell me who she is.
I LOVE your books. I have unfortunately lost my collection and I would like to obtain a new library digitally.
What’s the first book that started the series with the Coles and Delgado’s? Where should I start? Thank you for awesome stories -keep them coming! !
Greetings Ms. Alers and Happy New Year:
I too have read and re-read the Hide-away series. Joshua is my favorite hero, those stop the flow of blood eyes. I recently began my umpteenth redo but this repurchasing the series in Kindle format. Do you know when the other books in the series will be released in this format?
Thank you for all hard work and God-give talent, mostly for indulging me in my favorite pastime.
I have contacted my editor and informed of the titles that are still not in ebook format, and hopefully she will be able to correct this soon. I must admit that Joshua is also my personal favorite, followed by his son Michael. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my work and I pray I will continue to bring you stories and characters you have come to expect from me.
Good Afternoon Ms. Alers,
The Coles were my very first book. I bought the Special Edition with Hideaway, Hidden Agenda, and Vows. I like Joshua and his son, but Matthew Sterling was my kind of Hero! and Eve gave Him a good run. I also loved the way you brought Codero and David’s children together much later in Stanger in my arms. Absolutely amazing! I even like how you told Margerite and Samuel’s story! This is my favorite series! My favorite single title is Pleasure Seekers! Wonderful reading…
I have to agree with you on a lot of things. Matt Sterling was incredible. He is truly an example of a modern day gladiator. I know he was a little hard, but Eve held her own with him. Joshua is my favorite hero because he is so complex. Sammy and MJ’s story is also a personal favorite because of the historical research and the time period. Say no more when it comes to “Pleasure Seekers!” I love, love, loved writing this book because once I began it wrote itself. Thank you again for your support and for letting me know how much you enjoy my work.
Will there be another Eatons-Cole Union? I just finished listening to Sweet Silver Bell and Crystal gave her bouquet to Eden Spencer, Regina’s daughter. That would be so cool. I see all the requests for the entire Hideaway Series on Kindle. I must be really fortunate because I have all of them on my device. Now, if you’ve changed the, I’m just SOL because I love them just the way they are. I’m also fortunate that I have a list of the books in the order they were written. The next best thing would be able to have VOWS on audible. I loooooove Joshua Kirkland.
There will not be another Cole-Eaton pairing. I’m finished with the Eatons, but not the Coles. Whenever I’m able to come with a plot for the Coles, then I’m on it. Meanwhile, please be patient, because I’m working on a Wainwright scheduled for January 2018.
Hello Ms. Alers,
I have read every book you have written over the years, I really enjoy the story lines but Vows is my ULTIMATE favorite. Joshua is my favorite hero but Matthew Sterling does comes in close.
Currently, I am a student and I work during the day. I enjoy reading the books but while I am in school, I can only listen the audio books while working.
My question is, do you have any plans to release the books Vows & Hidden Agenda on audio?
I have recently been introduced to your books. I am trying to find out which book are in the same series. I have not been able to find this information on your website. Do any of the series have black people falling in love with other black people. ( There is nothing like a long tall glass of Dark Chocolate!)
